How it Works

The D.E.A.N. is easy to use, even by a novice!  During an emergency our clear layout assures you that alerts are accurately and expertly sent.  Students and parents will be impressed by the ease of registration.  In addition, multiple security protocols have been installed to guard against unauthorized access to your groups.

When you send an alert, members will receive it via their cell phone text messaging service or by e-mail.  Members do not have to be on campus, which is perfect for returning field trips or other off-site visits.  The entire process is as simple as 1-2-3.

  1. Provide our D.E.A.N. support staff with a list of names and a unique identification number.
  2. Advise potential members to sign up.
  3. Send alerts.

You can set up special groups that will receive notifications other than emergencies.  These groups can be clubs, athletic teams, band boosters, alumni, seniors only, etc.  Advise parents when a returning field trip is running late.  Let players and fans know when a game is postponed or rained-out.  Inform the French club of the results of a recent competition.  Advise your geometry class that the test has been cancelled due to unforseen circumstances.  The uses for the D.E.A.N. far exceed its emergency alert capabilities.
